Jonathan Martinez is a Texas native and has been performing and teaching music to people of all ages for over 10 years. Notable musicians he has performed and collaborated with include Dick Oatts, Joe McCarthy, Brian Landrus, Lynn Seaton, Rich DeRosa, and Shelly Carrol.

Jonathan is a graduate from the University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music under the tutelage of Dan Cavanagh, Stefan Karlsson, and Dr. John Solomons.
